RoLock
Community safety platform for Roblox-related Discord servers. A public banlist of blacklisted players across communities, including documented evidence, enforced through a Discord bot.
How it works
/setup
Invite RoLock to your server and run /setup. The bot immediately sweeps all current members, banning anyone already on the list.
When a blacklisted player joins your server, they're banned instantly. Every 5 minutes, the bot checks for new banlist entries and sweeps all protected servers.
Use /configure to choose your enforcement tier: LL3 only, LL2+3 (default), or all entries. Use /whitelist_add to exempt specific users from bans in your server.
How the banlist is decided
Reports are submitted through the RoLock bot using /report, with supporting evidence - screenshots, logs, video clips, or other documentation.
Staff review whether the report is valid and meets minimum requirements. Reports that don't pass this are rejected and don't go further.
Approved reports are put to a community vote. Hundreds of trusted staff members in the RoLock server receive a ballot with the full case details and compiled evidence. A 75% majority is required to pass.
If the vote passes, the accounts are added to the banlist. Their lock level is assigned based on the severity of what they did, and all servers are updated.
Lock levels
Protection from people who are actively attempting to attack or raid servers. Enforced by default.
Protection from people who have targeted multiple individuals - whether sexually or through deliberate doxxing - to cause harm. Enforced by default.
Protection from people who have repeatedly shown intolerant views - excessive harassment, discrimination, racism, transphobia, etc. Not enforced by default; server admins opt in with /configure.
Rotector Integration
Rotector is a third-party database that tracks Roblox accounts tied to condo servers and flags known groomers and pedophiles.
When Rotector is enabled, RoLock checks every joining member against Rotector's database. Anyone flagged is banned instantly, even if they are not on the RoLock banlist.
/rotector_toggle
Rotector is off by default. Run /rotector_toggle in your server to turn it on. The bot handles all lookups automatically on every join from that point forward.
